Living in Page

Page is a somewhat small city located in the state of Arizona. With a population of 7,320 people and two associated neighborhoods, Page is the 61st largest community in Arizona.

One interesting thing about the economy is that relatively large numbers of people worked from their home: 14.81% of the workforce. While this number may seem small overall, as a fraction of the total workforce this is high compared to the rest of the county. These workers are often telecommuters who work in knowledge-based, white-collar professions. For example, Silicon Valley has large numbers of people who telecommute. Other at-home workers may be self-employed people who operate small businesses out of their homes.

One of the benefits of Page is that there is very little traffic. The average commute to work is 13.72 minutes, which is substantially less than the national average. Not only does this mean that the drive to work is less aggravating, but noise and pollution levels are lower as a result.

As is often the case in a small city, Page doesn't have a public transportation system that people use for their commute.

In terms of college education, Page is somewhat better educated than the 21.84% who have a 4-year degree or higher in the typical US community: 28.30% of adults 25 and older in the city have at least a bachelor's degree.

The per capita income in Page in 2022 was $39,531, which is upper middle income relative to Arizona and the nation. This equates to an annual income of $158,124 for a family of four. However, Page contains both very wealthy and poor people as well.

Page is an extremely ethnically-diverse city. The people who call Page home describe themselves as belonging to a variety of racial and ethnic groups. The greatest number of Page residents report their race to be White, followed by Native American. Important ancestries of people in Page include English, Irish, German, Eastern European, and Italian.

The most common language spoken in Page is English. Other important languages spoken here include Native American languages and Navajo.
