Tavernier is a very small coastal town (i.e. on the ocean, a bay, or inlet) located in the state of Florida. With a population of 2,530 people and just one neighborhood, Tavernier is the 360th largest community in Florida.

Occupations and Workforce

Tavernier is neither predominantly blue-collar nor white-collar, instead having a mixed workforce of both blue-collar and white-collar jobs. Overall, Tavernier is a town of service providers, sales and office workers, and professionals. There are especially a lot of people living in Tavernier who work in sales jobs (14.78%), food service (13.39%), and maintenance occupations (12.73%).
