Indian Head, MD Housing Market Trends

With 4,025 people, 1,499 houses or apartments, and a median cost of homes of $283,020, Indian Head real estate values are some of the lowest in Maryland, although compared to real estate around the nation, Indian Head homes are still considered rather expensive.

Single-family detached homes are the single most common housing type in Indian Head, accounting for 54.30% of the town's housing units. Other types of housing that are prevalent in Indian Head include row houses and other attached homes ( 42.44%), large apartment complexes or high rise apartments ( 3.26%).

Owner-occupied, three and four bedroom dwellings, primarily in single-family detached homes are the most prevalent type of housing you will see in Indian Head.
