Leonia is a somewhat small borough located in the state of New Jersey. With a population of 9,492 people and two associated neighborhoods, Leonia is the 209th largest community in New Jersey. Leonia has an unusually large stock of pre-World War II architecture, making it one of the older and more historic boroughs.

Housing costs in Leonia are among some of the highest in the nation, although real estate prices here don't compare to real estate prices in the most expensive communities in New Jersey.
