Easton is a medium-sized city located in the state of Pennsylvania. With a population of 30,432 people and 17 associated neighborhoods, Easton is the 27th largest community in Pennsylvania. Much of the housing stock in Easton was built prior to World War II, making it one of the older and more historic cities in the country.

One interesting thing about the economy is that relatively large numbers of people worked from their home: 15.07% of the workforce. Other at-home workers may be self-employed people who operate small businesses out of their homes.

Easton is also a college town, where lots of students live while attending area colleges. Because of the high percentage of people living in Easton enrolled in college, Easton has a number of services, amenities and opportunities geared towards the needs and activities of students.
