West Haven is a larger medium-sized coastal city (i.e. on the ocean, a bay, or inlet) located in the state of Connecticut. With a population of 55,379 people and 11 associated neighborhoods, West Haven is the 16th largest community in Connecticut.Unlike some cities where white-collar or blue-collar occupations dominate the local economy, West Haven is neither predominantly one nor the other.
