Mims is a somewhat small coastal town (i.e. on the ocean, a bay, or inlet) located in the state of Florida. With a population of 7,336 people and three associated neighborhoods, Mims is the 240th largest community in Florida.Unlike some towns where white-collar or blue-collar occupations dominate the local economy, Mims is neither predominantly one nor the other.
