Americus is a medium-sized city located in the state of Georgia. With a population of 15,742 people and five associated neighborhoods, Americus is the 71st largest community in Georgia.Unlike some cities where white-collar or blue-collar occupations dominate the local economy, Americus is neither predominantly one nor the other.
