Monroe is a somewhat small village located in the state of New York. With a population of 9,502 people and four associated neighborhoods, Monroe is the 195th largest community in New York.Monroe is neither predominantly blue-collar nor white-collar, instead having a mixed workforce of both blue-collar and white-collar jobs.
