Apollo is a very small borough located in the state of Pennsylvania. With a population of 1,586 people and four associated neighborhoods, Apollo is the 702nd largest community in Pennsylvania. Much of the housing stock in Apollo was built prior to World War II, making it one of the older and more historic boroughs in the country.Unlike some boroughs where white-collar or blue-collar occupations dominate the local economy, Apollo is neither predominantly one nor the other.
