Monaca is a somewhat small borough located in the state of Pennsylvania. With a population of 5,466 people and three associated neighborhoods, Monaca is the 262nd largest community in Pennsylvania. Monaca has a large stock of pre-World War II architecture, making it one of the older and more historic boroughs in the country.Unlike some boroughs, Monaca isn’t mainly white- or blue-collar.
